We offer a variety of writing, literature, public speaking, and grammar courses to teach students new skills and to reinforce the skills they are learning in school.  These courses are ideal for students who enjoy reading, writing, and speaking and also for students who could use extra practice to refine their skills. 

 In this course, students will learn to identify figurative language and use it in their own descriptive writing. The students will also gain an appreciation for the nuances of words and respect for the power of words to convey a precise image or idea. They will begin with shorter writing exercises and showcase their skills in a final personal narrative.

 Duolingo is an American language-learning website and mobile app, as well as a digital language proficiency assessment exam.   As of March 2021, the language-learning website and app offer 106 different language courses in 38 languages. The app has over 300 million registered users across the world. 

 This AP Chinese Language and Culture course is designed for high school students who have successfully completed at least three years of Chinese courses. Through the course, students will further develop their communication skills and cultural competence.
